  • Patriotism:

Yes, people should look at the past "critically" and learn from the mistakes recorded by history. No, people shouldn't disrespect the previous generation or the United States. The past generation was human, this one is and so will the next one be.Humanity as a whole has to work on improving itself. All in all, that is happening, but with opinions as abundant as the population of our world, we are not always progressing in harmony. One of the biggest issues is with people who agree with Machiavelli in that "the end justifies the means"...many a great man followed that creed to somewhat a degree. Winston Churchill and Roosevelt to name a couple. Than there are the troubles of through nationality, whence we get the saying "one man's ist is another man's freedom fighter"...The human mind and heart isn't constrained by any laws or rules such as science. That is why psychology is a pseudoscience, and will always have a degree of unpredictability.Grammatically there is room for improvement in this piece, especially between transition of thought. I would recommend the use of an outline to the author, in order to empower him/her to express personal philosophy in a much clearer way.

This world can be so messed up. First women complain that they are not being treated equally and everywhere I turn I am always faced with it. My mom is a feminist, my mom's friends are feminists, seems almost every I've dated is a feminist and my current friend is a feminist. OKAY...I agree women should have equal rights because I believe that they contribute equally to society, but equal rights are not special rights. If women feel that they have a lot of societal pressures, welcome to the world of men. Wait, didn't you ask to be treated fairly? Than what is there to complain about? If you want equality than go through what men have to go through and respond to those pressures in the same manner. Wait, but men can't go through child labor and experience that...soooo....maybe that means that perfect equilibrium is not exactly a possibility and perhaps men and women have two distinct roles to play in society and they should accept that and make life a little easier for themselves and everone else. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that women shouldn't have careers, it should be a choice of that individual, but if you make that choice, take the consequeces like a man. Ooops...see what I mean?

PLEASE!!!299 words is one paragraph NOT an essay. manatgametalk, you have great ideas and it is evident that you either did a good job of researching and brainstorming or are familiar with the topic, but you need to re-write this piece using an outline because you have crammed a lot of good ideas into one paragraph and they need to be expounded upon so that this paper is much longer and provides a greater amount of information. That will give it much more depth and information because as it stands, this is just a paragraph.

One cannot say that the author is unbiased since the title itself dispels and doubt of that thought, I believe that personal bias (note, not but bias) notwithstanding the author did a good job of presenting a fair case. This subject is quite a sore spot in the history of America's great history and therefore there will be many a strong opinion. Anyone who is >strongly< opposed to or >strongly< in favor of this piece could be called racist or blind. • Needs chart???

My little brother (11 years old) wipes up the floor with writing of this calibre. You are in 11th grade? I find it hard to believe...If the grade was lower than this paper would be better, but as it stands, this is quite unsatisfactory.Let's assume that all of Malcolm's needs were covered on this chart, the in-depth is extremely lacking. That is the biggest problem that Eggy, as an author, has. Very broad and shallow papers. C'mon Eggy, get real, a FEW LINES for psychological needs? That would fill at least three paragraphs, minimum!!! There are so many aspects that could be discussed, from parent - child relationship, prevelance of , quality of education and the moral system in the family just to name a few possibilities. I won't go on about the other needs.A little tip for the author, "psychological" means of the mind, mental, related to human behavior. Air, water, food are not needed for this and you cannot steal what is needed for psychological needs. It might have been slightly more accurate if, Eggy, you had said physiological-"1. Biology dealing with life or living organisms; the study of the functions of the organs and parts during life, as distinct from anatomy 2. The organic processes and phenomena collectively. of an organism or part 3. A treatise on physiology"- needs.poor rating.

To add to that, you never went into a detailed discussion on anything that happened in either of their lives. This isn't long enough or in-depth enough for even one of their lives, let alone BOTH of them!!!This is an extremely brief overview of the chosen subject. It covers only the most basic information and does not discuss examples their philosophies and ods in action.I would have given this a poor rating if it hadn't cited resources. • >>>CONFUSED<<<!!!!????

Maybe it's just me, but how does this paper fit in under the category of Business>>>Accounting...???...While it has nothing of financial information or mathematical quality, it is interesting to read. The topic that the paper was actually written about, though, could definitely have been developed much further and deeper.I see this over and over again. Whenever someone writes about a social issue, they MUST develop the subject completely and thoroughly; because "Social Studies" is perhaps one of the most important things in this world, in reference to how future generations affect the world. Therefore, it is not something to be taken lightly when written about.I give this paper an average rating.

Perhaps you could try building a broader base, perhaps talk about birth and maybe a bonding experience the two had. You could also add a little more depth to the part when they are referring to "the last time we followed a noise" say that they got in trouble and mention who punished, perhaps like, Papa Tulio, or the pack leader, Wise Turtle.Anyhow..those are my ideas, good luck and good job.

I would strongly disagree with this because crime rates climb every year, and it is commonly known that alcohol is a number one cause of violence.I find it disturbing that for some reason the author makes lack of alcohol look bad but fails to inform the reader that in parallel with the increase of drugs in the 80's the crime rate skyrocketed faster than in the 20's.

If luck was a factor in sports then it would not be sports, it would be a different version of gambling. I would hate to think that all the athletes worldwide who sweat and toil for the chance to realize a lifelong dream would only find out it was based on luck, in other words gambling.Another thing...I can't believe this paper was written by a Junior.
