Madness seems to be just around the corner..

This is a greate piece, very creative, sureal, poetic, and to the point. This could be useful for someone who needs help writing something for their creative writing class.

When I read this, I thought of a poem by Robert Browning called "Porphyria's Lover." The poem's narrator also lost his sanity though apparently "he acted normal, looked normal, and talked like a normal" person, at least until he resorted to murder. "He can pretend" as you point out and bear a seductive mask of seeming reason which disguises the horror which may "be just around the corner." We may not really know even those who are closest to us. In fact, some may harbor insanity and our ignorance of it may result in tragedy. Indeed, "Who knows where madness lies..."

That was rather fascinating.Even though it was short,it was also to the point.I can see that great insight was placed within this piece.It sounds better when it is short like this.If it had been longer, it would have probably lost its true purpose.Keep up the good work!

What insight! I mean, I know this is just a regular essay but if you read into it enough, it is quite extraordinary. Read it again. It should be worth it.

This is really different; its captivating from the begining. I'ts length doesn't really matter as it says what it wants to in a small number of words.

It doesnt appear to be an essay or a story, although it is prose. It doesnt appear to be a poem although it is poetic. So what is it? I dont know but to be honest I quite like that prods the old grey cells

This is a very good essay. It was short but the writer expressed his thoughts well. There was only one mistake, in line 8, the writer said He twice,Next time just check the grammer one last time before submitting.

I applaud your effort but perhaps there can be more focus in your writing? You touch briefly on the aspects you want to express but they are not developed enough because they are too vague

I thought this was pretty cool in a very surreal poetic type way. However I don't see how this could be of much use to anyone. There is no thesis or plot really. But it's cool.

I thought it was kinda fun... it could've been a bit longer though, would've worked as a longer story I think.

I enjoyed reading this piece. It is well written and although short it conveys meaning... but as an essay that can be used for a purpose i don't think it is suitable

I am not sure what's the use of having it up but it was very poetic and very interesting. I'm not sure how it would help anyone but it is definetly somthing I wouldn't mind reading for pleasure. Its still very interesting and cool.

though the writing is good it is an opening to what it could become this is a beginning not a story nor is it worthy of a 7th grade essay

Even though this essay is a bit short, I like the sense of poetry and imagery in this essay. I also like how the essay leaves us in suspense though the intro and near the end. Very good "cut to the chase" essay!
