Title: The Hobbit

Author: J.R.R. Tolkien

Main Characters: Bilbo Baggins (the hobbit), Gandalf, Balin, Thorin, Fili, Kili, Bofur, Bombur, Bifur, Dwalin, Dori, Nori, Ori, Oin, and Gloin.

Setting: All over a fantasy land

Plot:

This is a story about a hobbit named Bilbo Baggins. He was chosen by a wizard to go on a quest. He was to go on a quest to go with some dwarves (listed above) to get some treasure that a dragon named Smaug had stolen. The little hobbit really didn't want to go, but the wizard whose name was Gandalf made him go. To start out the quest the group went on ponies stocked with nourishment.

They had to cross many mountains and valleys. At one point during their journey some goblins captured all of them in their sleep. Gandalf, the wizard, saved them by cutting them loose in the nighttime.

While running out of that nasty cave in which the goblins lived, little Bilbo got lost and fell behind. He bumped his head and was knocked unconscious for the rest of the night.

Bilbo woke up a long while after, and had no clue where he was. He stumbled on what looked to be a ring when he arose. He just stuck it in his pocket, not knowing what it was. He then decided that he wanted to get out of this dark and gloomy cave. He was trying to find his way out when he came upon and evil goblin named Golem. The goblin said that he would show the hobbit out if he won a riddle game with him. If he lost the goblin would get to eat Bilbo. Bilbo won, but the goblin wasn't expecting this so he went to eat Mr. Baggins anyway. While running away...
